In Loving Memory of Margaret Ann Campbell

“

Her honesty was refreshing, her humor was unmatched, and her bold personality was one of the many things that made her so special.

There are some people whose love leaves an imprint on everyone they meet. Margaret Ann Campbell was one of those people. She was better known as Ann.

Ann was born on January 30, 1947, in Scotland County, North Carolina, to the late Mary Alice Campbell and James McNeil. She was the oldest of three children and helped pave the way for her family with strength, resilience, and determination. In 1958, she and her family moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she would build a life centered around faith, family, and

She attended Gratz High School and later dedicated many years of faithful service to the United States Postal Service in Philadelphia. Through her work, she became known as someone who was dependable, hardworking, and always willing to help others.

More importantly, Ann was a woman whose faith guided every season of her life. In 1977, she joined Cornerstone Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Harold O. Lewis. In 1978, she stepped out on faith under the leadership of Reverend Barry E. Connelly, where she remained a faithful and devoted member of the congregation. Even during seasons of illness, her love for God never wavered, and her church family always remained close to her heart.

“

Her laughter, her honesty, her strength, and her unwavering love will continue to live on in all of us.

Anyone who knew Ann knew she was never afraid to speak her mind. Whether through her words, a simple look, or one of her unforgettable facial expressions, you always knew exactly how she felt. Her honesty was refreshing, her humor was unmatched, and her bold personality was one of the many things that made her so special. If you called her name, she answered. If you needed advice, she gave it even if you didn't want it! If she loved you, you never had to question it.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved crossword puzzles, watching and yelling at her beloved Philadelphia Phillies, and taking trips to her favorite stores Walmart and Ross. These little moments brought her happiness, but nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with the people she loved.

Above all, Ann cherished her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose love knew no limits.

Her home was a place where everyone felt welcomed, and her heart was always open.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Alice Campbell and James McNeil, her brother David, her beloved son, Vincent and her grandson, Karneil. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her sister Margie, her Uncle Otis, her children, Otis and Angela; her grandchildren, Jessica, Sharney, Tyron and Lakia; her treasured great-grandchildren, Skylar-Ann, Ly Shay, Logan, Nuri, Naki ,Naim, Laniyah ,Ty'ale, Ka'riyah and La'Kayla; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives will forever be touched by her love.

Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we rejoice knowing that she has finished her race, kept the faith, and now rest peacefully in the presence of the Lord. Her laughter, her honesty, her strength, and her unwavering love will continue to live on in all of us.

A special heart-felt thanks to two of her devoted aides of 15 plus years Shakina and Clarissa! And a very special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Pennsylvania Hospital for their love and care for her for many years!

"Well done,my good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
