Obituary

On a bright spring day of May 7, 2021, our Sovreign God gently ushered Jane Kemlin to her heavenly home, to be at eternal rest with Him.

Jane was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 12, 1950, to the late Charles and Gertrude Kemlin.
She was educated in the Philadelphia school system. After graduation, she worked a summer job and then perused college. She received an Associated Degree from Community College of Philadelphia and later she continued her academic quest where she obtained a bachelor's degree from Penn State University.
She entered the workforce starting as an underwriter for Chubb Ins. Co.: after a long tenure with Chubb Ins., she later was employed by the security companies: Allied Barton Security Services; Apollo International and Allied Universal.
She had a zest for life. She enjoyed socializing. She never gave birth to children, but she adored her godson, Kevin Walton "Smiley" with all her heart. As an only child, she shared a lasting friendship with her childhood friend, Mattie Ray who was like a sister.
Preceding her in death, was her loving companion Claude Brown.
Left to embrace her memory: her cousin, Natalie; godson, Kevin Walton, and close friends.
