While at Dobbins I fell in love and met who would become my husband and father of my children William Wright Jr. We were married in 1974 after graduation. We had three beautiful daughters Sher'rayn (deceased), Isis, and Whitney whom we raised in what would become our family home in Logan, Philadelphia. I have three beautiful Grandchildren who I love dearly , two granddaughters Ms. Freddy & Loh Loh , one grandson Poppa aka Budda Butt.

After college, I worked at an auto shop doing accounting, joined the Eastern Stars and from there I went into the dangerous field of corrections. I worked as a corrections officer for over 10 years, having a fulfilling career before deciding to transition to security. Most recently was recognized for my tenure at SugarHouse Casino now Rivers Casino for my dedication. When I wasn't working, I enjoyed spending time with some of my oldest friends including Vida Stanley, Laura Bethea, Patrica Beckwith, Patricia Frey (deceased), Wilson Beckwith Jr. (deceased) and Tyrone Small (deceased).  When my children left home, I found comfort in my extended community. I began volunteering as a mentor for youth through the DA's office.

Though this seemed so sudden, please know I love you all and enjoyed the memories I was able to make with each and every one of you. To my nephews & nieces, cousins, and a host of family & friends that I will miss very much and someday will see again in heaven.
