Bro.  Herman L. Bass, Jr.  been in the organization for 47 years.  He has served in various positions in the different departments in the organization.  He is the Past National Grand Worthy Patron for the National Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

He has held the following positions In the Blue House:  National Grand Junior Warden, Subordinate Senior Warden & Worshipful Master, Grand Junior Warden, Senior Warder, Deputy Grand Master and Grand Master.  He has held several positions in the Royal Arch Subordinate and Grand levels.  He has held various positions in the Knights of Templar Subordinate and Grand levels, and various positions in the Consistory Subordinate and Grand levels.  He was one of the Original Board of Directors for the National Shriners Department.

Bro. Bass is the father of three (3) children, two (2) grandson and three (3) great grands.  He is a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church.  His hobbies are: golf, fishing and chess.  His favorite Verse is Psalms 23, 24 and 27.
