Obituary

Geraldine B. Rivers was born on September 3, 1946, to Bessie R. Moore and William Moore in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was raised in North Philadelphia and later moved to South Philadelphia where she raised 4 children: Cynthia, Robert, Richard A., and Tyrell'e.

She worked part-time at the School District of Philadelphia, and she worked part-time at the County Assistance office.
In 1995 she moved to Hampton, Virginia where she spent the rest of her time with her daughter, Tyrell'e and her granddaughter, Tyshawna who took very good care of her.
Mom enjoyed shopping, cooking, watching TV, music, dancing, spending time with her family and praying.
She passes on to leave her memories with her children: Cynthia, Richard, and Tyrell'e; her brother, Earl Johnson Sr.; a sister, Cynthia Livingston; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces, 4 nephews,  and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
Special Thanks to our sister who took on the responsibility of being the main caretaker of our mother while residing in Virginia. Thank You So Much! We Love You! Richie, and Cyndy.
A very special thank you to our cousins Shawna, and Earl Johnson for their assistance with mom's funeral we love you so much.
