Donna Marie Jones was born December 21, 1965 in Philadelphia, PA. She was educated in the Philadelphia School system and graduated from Simon Gratz High School in 1984.

Donna held many jobs during her lifetime, the most recent were the Zitner's Candy Company, the Philadelphia Phillies organization and the Free Library of Philadelphia.

Donna loved God and her family more than anything else. Donna was baptized in 1982 and later attended the United Fellowship Church of God of Prophecy and became a member in 2019. She enjoyed music, dancing and movies. Donna was the favorite aunt that all of her nieces and nephews gravitated to, she was one of the first on the scene when a baby was born and glad to add another to the mix.

Donna met Willie C. Pettus Jr. in 1996, they began a life of love together and remained that way until her passing. Donna added the Pettus family into her brood of love and incorporated them with the Jones family.

Donna leaves to mourn her fiancée Willie C. Pettus Jr., her mother Dorothea Pough, her sisters Gwendolyn (children- Curtis(Alex) Derrick (Shellaine) Elizabeth and Steven), Wendy, Bernadette (children Tyree, Tyler and Tynysha) and Yvonne, her brother Kevin (Patricia) (children-Kevin, Marcus and Tierra), the Pettus family Cecile (Will's mom), Paul and Victor (Will's brothers) Willie C. Pettus III (Will's son) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
