Charise Antoinette
Byrd-Scott
Jul 7, 1979 — Sep 7, 2021
Philadelphia
|
Charise Antoinette Byrd-Scott entered eternal rest on September 7, 2021, at her home in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina after a 19-month long illness.
She was the daughter of Mark Anthony Scott and Robbin Charise Byrd, born in Philadelphia Pa. on July 7, 1979.
She was educated in the Philadelphia school system and the Pennsbury school system in Bucks County Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed her time participating in sports as a basketball player. She continued in the work force as a restaurant manager in several well-known fast-food restaurants.
Charise spent time in New Jersey as a military child, a short time in Illinois but most of her time was spent in the Philadelphia area until she relocated to North Carolina in December of 2019.
It was 42 years ago, and 2 months God loaned the Byrd's and the Scott's a beautiful healthy fat little girl. She enjoyed the beach and many animals. Known as her four-legged children were, Sunni and Cologinal her dogs and Patti her cat.
Dee Byrd: Charise Antoinette "Boogie" Scott as my brother called her. She was my Sister Robbin Byrd and my brother-in-law Mark Scott's one and only child. She was the first grandchild on both sides. She had 3 Aunts and 4 Uncles. Ruth (who has preceded her in death), me (her aunt /extra mom / pain in her, butt nerve worker) and Lola (her aunt/sister/best friend). Rob (her older uncle), Bo (her uncle she referred to as Aunt Bo when she was young...not because of his sexuality but because she was silly like that), Steve, and my brother (whom she called "Uncle"). We all loved her in our own way and had our own relationships with her.
As a little girl she was always traveling with her Mom-Mom and her Pop-Pop whom she adored. She was crazy about her Poppie and had love for her Nannette. Charise made her "calling and election sure," by giving her heart to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Charise was unique. She lived her life on her terms.
She is predeceased by grandparents, Robert W. Scott Sr. and Veola A. Byrd.
Her memories will be cherished by her grandparents: William C. Sr. and Janie Byrd, and Barbara J. Scott; parents: Mark Anthony Scott and Robbin Charise Byrd as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Lovingly and Prayerfully Submitted, The Family
