Altermese M. Beale, the matriarch of the Beale's family, passed away on the night of January 20, 2026 at the golden age of 95 in Wyncote, Pennsylvania.  Altermese and her husband Paul Beale, Sr. founded the world renowned Paul Beale's Florist of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the West Oak Lane section of the city.  The florist shop was founded on May 1, 1971 at 7220 Ogontz Ave, the shop has remained a staple in the same Philadelphia community for over 50 years.  After husband, Paul Beale Sr. passed away on May 24, 2020, at age 92,  Altermese still involved herself with the business until her untimely death.  Altermese and Paul, Sr.'s legacy is in good hands with their daughters, grandchildren, and extended family that maintaining a legacy of quality service and community.
