Obituary

Ada Phumelele Sukati was born on March 10th, 1947 in Swaziland, South Africa. Daughter of Mnandi and Fultsa Hlatjwako Ada was the youngest of 10 children.
Swaziland is where she learned the core values of hard work, honesty, loyalty, and love. After spending almost 30 years in her homeland she moved to the United States of America to join her husband Brian Sukati whom she loved dearly with all of her heart in 1977.
In October of that same year Ada & Brian gave birth to her only child, a baby boy 'The Great' Thulani Sukati (lol).
Initially, Ada begin a career as a Nurse's Assistant before changing career paths to housekeeping and caregiver in order to create a better work schedule. This in turn would allow her to spend more time with her son.
Ada loved to listen to 80's soft rock and her idea of a good time would consist of listening to music while eating a Tomahawk steak and reminiscing about the old days in Swaziland.
If you truly knew Ada you would know that she loved to talk. She also would tell you the same 25 stories 50 times over as if it was the first time she ever told it. Her heart was larger than life and she treated everyone like family no matter the race or religion. She genuinely had a love for people. By possessing the uncanny ability to connect with a complete stranger she would bring light to a dark room; always willing to help and willing to listen.
Ada's life and memory will be celebrated by her eldest sister Phyllis, her incomparable son Thulani and fiancée Shadonna, and her grandchildren Malia and Nicole,  along with a host of other relatives.
Lovingly & Prayerfully Submitted, The Family.
